Christmas is a very important time and an especially busy time for the charity, as many families struggle to provide gifts for their children on Christmas Day. We started our Christmas toy drive in 2020 and Christmas 2023 we delivered 836 gifts (an increase from 2022, when we delivered 723 gifts) for children and families who would otherwise have struggled to receive anything at Christmas.
“Thank you so much for your help in providing Christmas gifts for two of the families that I work with, who were struggling to give gifts to their children. The families were overwhelmed with the fabulous gifts, and they have told me what a difference it made to them being able to give their children presents. The families felt that your kindness and generosity reduced the pressure that they experience at this time of year. I would personally like to thank you for making the whole referral process so straightforward and for delivering the gifts to my office. You really did go above and beyond at very short notice. Christmas can be a very challenging time for many families, and you made Christmas brighter for both families.”
